Canada KM#28 cent 1931 mintage- 3,842,776 this high of a mintage is not rare. only rare in high grade IMO.
    grade/value
    VG-$0.65 F-$1.00 VF-$2.50 XF-$6.00 MS-60-$40.00 MS-63-$200.00
not sure what your coin grade is without seeing the other side of this coin's pic.
    guessing VF-XF ?
Krause values may differ from real life market values.

Thanks Spirityoda. I appreciate your kind reply and the education which you have instilled within me regarding this coin. I am pleased to have found it, and I intend to add it to my (very) slowly growing collection of coins.
    Respectfully, Error66.

Thank You Seattlite86. I apologize for going off as I did. I am here to learn and make new acquaintences if possible. Perhaps I belong in a remedial forum. lol

1931 it is a keeper. I myself have recently really started liking Canadian coins again. especially the toned ones. my favorites are the toned 50 cent pieces. my main interests are in world coins.

As a new collector, I have begun with U.S. cents, although I have inherited a couple of Roman coins from 67 A.D. from Pompeii during the reign of Titus.
I'm having difficulty, however, maintaining any form of social decorum on this site and I spend little time here. Thanks for sharing your interests w/ me. Have a great day!

coins are great. I loose myself in them. I can escape in their beauty. I have learned to be patient with coins. there is so much to learn. good thing it is a life long hobby. asking a lot of questions is how we all learn about coins. that is how we gain experience. I have been collecting coins for 17 years now. good luck in your next coin hunt. I look forward to seeing more pics from you.
