Lots of really BAD advice in that book if you don't know what you are doing.

286 pages showing how to turn ugly lumps of encrusted metal into ugly lumps of encrusted metal. Near the beginning is the one suggestion I consider good. Buy coins with detail that can be cleaned. Most of his examples prove that many coins simply are gone.

Most sites and this book doesn't cover dry cleaning without water or any chemical. I think most of the methods are too harsh.
