This coin is similar to Sicily?

    It is this coin, or not?http://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=1552020

    Bruttium, Half unit,The Brettii, c. 211-208 BC, AE, (g 3,40, mm 17, h 6). Winged bust of Nike l.; at r. symbol, Rv. BPETTION, Zeus driving fast biga r.; below plough. HNItaly 1997; SNG ANS -.Rare. Good extremely fine.

    PS. My coin light about 5 grams!!!!!!!!!Maybe it's an earlier instance of this type of coins?

    light 5 grams compared to what? they all look to be around 3.4-3.5g?

    I can just barely make out the obverse---and the depiction of horse(s), or a biga, on the reverse....which makes it seem like you have a match from your link..

    A 'half unit'? That's one I can't recall coming across---at least referred to in that way ...

    Mikey, You can see the chariot, but the letters below the line under the stairs have not been put on the coin or the letters were not there

    I think the attribution of your coin is right here, but the grade is far off. I would not call this coin good ex. fine. I would call it maybe Fine at best. Nice coin tho.
