I picked up a raw Oregon Trail Comm today at the coin show. This baby has great eye appeal and blistering white luster. I'd like to get your opinion on grade. Thanks in advance.

I'd say a 64 , luster really carries these . Even one with minimal hits will grade lower because of muted luster . Nice coin though .

Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if it went -65 or -66.

I'd say 65 or possibly 66 on a good day. Really nice coin, and I haven't see that many for sale in that condition.

I'm at MS67. It is very much like the one I had except that mine was toned.

This is 100% true. I'd say the photo justifies a 65, but, given my misstep with his MS66 Buffalo nickel, I'd say this photo probably doesn't show the full amount of luster. I'd say minimum MS66, shot at 67.

I always love that design .. At a glance, 64-65 depending on luster

65 - mark on the abs and the chatter on the right leg keep it from going higher. Just my opinion.
