1953 D Roosevelt Dime RPM or MD?

    I am not sure this is MD because the nose (Die Chip) and eyebrow (Die break on eyebrow above back of eye). Also the #1 in 1953 seems to be closer to the bust than other dimes. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry about the pictures. Ed

    I'm not certain what a die chip/break has to do with determining if something is MD or not. Also, anything on the opposing side of the coin that you suspect to exhibit a new die-variety really has nothing to do with confirming its existence. It also has very little to do with confirming known varieties because die-pairs change throughout the life of a particular die as they don't change both at the same time. This does look like MD to me though. Keep up the hunt!

    Thanks - just was not sure. Nose and eyebrow was just a marker from another variety. Ed
