Original skin also means that it could be an original 'white' coin that hasn't been dipped.

Original skin doesn't necessarily equal toned.

I believe dipping a coin is artificially altering it no matter what. You remove a layer of the coin, therefore it can't be 'original as it left the press', it's missing factory 'pieces'.

Exactly. And you also brought up another good point: To many people that appreciate toning including myself, it is very much about originality. I prefer original surfaces to a coin that has been manipulated any day. As a coin ages, the less likely it is that a blast white coin has not been dipped. Moreover, within the spectrum of originality, there is a huge spectrum so not all toning aficionados are the same.

You're the one who said you simply share the truth, preacher boy. To wit, emphasis supplied...

They can explain what they stand for, they can't define what they mean, they mean different things to different people, in one word, they're pretentious standards (...two words).

I like it and the high grade as well. I think MS67+ is the sweet spot before the prices explode for the minimal increase in quality you see at MS68 and MS69.

What I said makes sense, what you said is nonsense. Did you join a poetry class or something?
