Wow, the $85 a week that I made as a bank teller is still only worth $548.39 in 2014.

That pay still sucks

 

20$ in 1924 was a 30 gram gold coin,it couldn't cost so cheap in a time of gold standard

 

I got a 1928a $50 note that said, "Redeemable in Gold", Federal Reserve Note though. Worth $781.25 current dollars when it was made in around 1931.
