Reviews about Ampex scamming people out of money. I'm not saying Gainesville does that but they probably sell overgraded coins as well? I don't know how not to buy over graded coins when they are everywhere. Definitely on eBay.
So, what you are saying is that you haven't checked into any sites, you don't know how to grade and you can't spell APMEX correctly. Chris
And what you are saying is you're a grumpy old man that has nothing better to do. So you nitpick on other people to make yourself feel better. Don't be sad it's alright, I don't have a wife either..
Suggestioins? Start a third thread asking the same question...the first two aren't getting you anywhere!
Where are all these comedians coming from? Wow they are great!!! Tell me more jokes people pleaseeeeeee.
Nope! I just remember the person who was bragging last year about how much money he was making and is still trying to get other people to do his work for him. Do your own research! Learn how to grade by examining thousands of coins! Either that, or take all that money you made and pay for some classes. Chris

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. ...
I take little stock in what you say because you have to borrow it from someone else rather than come up with something original of your own. It still doesn't change the fact that you come here to get someone else to perform the searches that you won't get off your backside to do yourself. Chris
I've bought many coins from Apmex and really like the company. That being said, I typically only use them for bullion. What do you want from the Double Eagle? Do you just want it for bullion value or do you want numismatic value as well? IMO, if you want numismatic value, you have to see a picture of the exact coin you are buying. Plus, I'd personally want it already graded by NGC or PCGS. Without knowing why you want the coin, it's tough to give advice.
