    I bought one of this type a couple of years ago. I like the coin but honestly don't remember bidding on it! The invoice arrived and I do remember the auction in general but I have no notes regarding research or intent to bid. No regrets... it's a pretty type.

    Rome, 115-114 BCE

    AR denarius, 20 mm, 3.91 g, 10 h
    Obv: Helmeted head of Roma right, X behind, ROMA below
    Rev: Roma, helmeted, seated on two shields, holding spear before her, she-wolf standing right at her feet, head turned back, sucking Romulus and Remus. In left and right fields, two birds flying towards her.

    So if memory is the first to go, and you can't remember what went first, then how can you tell which went first?

    There is one for sale in the Agora Auction which ends tomorrow if you are interested. I would have bid, but I'm sticking to my guns and waiting till July to buy my next coin(s) (did you notice that? coinssssss?)
