1913 type 2 Buffalo Nickel - ddo?

    I have some east side doubling on the chief's head... forehead, nose, chin, and parts of the braided hair. I'm not sure if this is common for the year. I don't see it in Cherry Picker's so I thought I would call on the vast knowledge of our forum community. Thanks.

    There are 2 DDOs listed for that year at Variety Vista. Yours doesn't match the diagnostics for either one. Granted that this is a lightly circulated coin, but the general fuzziness on LIBERTY and the date make me think this might be die deterioration/machine doubling. The doubling on the face does look shelf-like, so I'm going to say probably MD.

    Doubling .....the profile looks tripled to me but must say to me it's MD. Still a very cool coin I've seen the same type of full face doubling on BHD's very nice find.

    It does appear to be tripled @Paddy54. Like you just said, it looks pretty cool too.
