I picked this one up at my LCS for $12 dollars. I sent it in for grading and want to know how you guys would grade against NGC. I'll post the grade in a couple of days. Thanks.

I'll say MS64. It looks like it has gem quality surfaces, but a little weakness of strike (and 38-D frequently comes with a very strong strike), and maybe muted luster.

The 1st graded coin I had was a PCGS 66 '38-D Buffalo that my wife bought me . This coin is as nice or a tad nicer .

Buffaloes aren't my area, but I am guessing it has the luster to carry it. From pictures I am not familiar with, it is a guess.

I'm going with the majority, only see a couple of marks, one near the braid and one on the Buffalo's shoulder. Got to be a close 65. Nice coin!

Are you blind? There is no way that coin is AU.

    I'd say it's MS65 at least, likely MS66.
