Here is a nice 1858 Half Dime for you to check out. Again, my camera is taking pictures WAY TOO BRIGHT for some reason. My daughter was using it this weekend, gotta find out what the heck she did with it, LOL...

Ben,that's a very nice coin you've got there.I've only ever seen holed & worn ones over here in New Zealand. The same thing applies to the silver 3c. coins.

You'd better turn the contrasting down a bit,as the whitening makes the coin look like one in an overexposed film photo.

Wow, that is another nice one. Good luck on fixing your camera lol. Might just be the contrast.

Nice coin! If you can't fix the camera, you could always use photo editing software to increase/lower contrast and brightness. Good luck!

Nice coin bone, Mine is close to the same grade but is black and gummy ( never cleaned ) although I'd have to say 75% of my seated collection has been cleaned at some point in time.

Most 19th century type silver has been cleaned at some point. Even white uncirculated coins have usually been dipped in the past.

Ben, I love 19th century type coins and silver. Nice example of a Half Dime. Good luck getting the camera settings in order.
