hey I just got a 1934 dollar and i was wondering how much it was worth the serial code is B 13234530 A It has a different back than normal US dollars also.
Could you post a pic? Won''t be able to tell much without one, cause it's value all depends on condition, series, etc. Does it have In God We Trust on it? And, does it look at all like this? The serial number isn't much, but what is neat is all the numbers are 5 and under, which might make it worth a little more, depends on who wants it. Hope this helps! Phoenix
nope the back doesnt look like that it has the number one is large bubble letters and one dollar over that ill try to post a picture
Here is one from 1923. Does the back look at all like this? Just trying to help, and good luck on posting a pic. :thumb: Phoenix
Okay, that would be called a funny back silver cert. Now we're getting somewhere, lol. Next step would be it's condition. Which pic does it look closest to: Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Hope these help. Phoenix
I bought a 4 note run of consec numbers of series 1934 $ last year. These, along with series 1928 $1 Silver Certificates have a reverse known as "Funnybacks". These are easily found in CU for under $100.... I would reccomend buying the new Whitman Book known as the official REDBOOK "A Guide Book of United States Paper Money " It includes all Large and small size notes. It only costs $20.
