The problem with the old image in this case is that it was the seller's image and I really want to use my own. I can try again when I finish the next 600 or so.

This coin was hard to image, mainly the obverse. But what makes this coin special is the detail on the reverse:
    Taras, Calabria.jpg Taras, Calabria REV.jpg
    TARAS, CALABRIA
    AR Diobol
OBVERSE: Head of Athena in crested helmet left decorated with Skylla
REVERSE: Herakles kneeling right, strangling lion
    Struck at Taras 380-334 BC
    1.2g, 11mm
    Vlasto 1316

    Please keep posting the re-shoots.

I've been told by TIF & AN that my coins are better in hand than in my photos. (That is another way of saying my photos are lousy:D). If I start getting better results with my equipment then a complete re-shoot may be in my future too.

How do they know what your coins look like "in hand"? I haven't notice anything wrong with your images.

That's why. I know Anoob and he got together at a show I think. Anyway, I think his images are good from what I've seen. Much better than mine.

NICE!!! => Superior photos, Bing (sweet photo-evolution, my coin-friend) ...

Ummm, but wow => that must be Fat-Herc, yes? ... man, I always thought that Hercules kept himself in fighting-form (perhaps he was in his Fat-Elvis stage?)

Bing, From what I've seen, your newer photos are superior to the old and if the color is an accurate depiction of what they actually are, then all of your 'reshoots' are vastly superior.

Plan to visit New York this Summer??? I could use a few hands-on help with my photography progress...and I'll even let you swim in my pool and drink my beer---BUT NOT ALL OF IT!!:D

I have many coins that both need to be reshot. I am constantly rediscovering things...look...I found a Kermanshah Varhran
Put t he black background around the first photo and your perfect. Your obverse photo is tilted back and I don't like your lighting position for the second photo obverse. The reverse is ok.
