    Hello,

I have been unable to identify this coin. Wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

This may be. I have no idea. I was only trying to identify the coin.

You could be, and so could I, but it looks like a cast fake to me too...

It apparently was meant to resemble the Iberian examples that A-noob and Bing so graciously spent some time to offer as identification. But the styling is off and the coin gives off that soft fake look peculiar to cast fakes...,

Lord knows I'm no expert in this area (LOL), as my recent winning bid purchase at Agora makes perfectly clear... which is now a 'credit ' for a future purchase by the way....

Thank you all for your assistance. I don't deal with ancients too often.

I cannot comment on the coins authenticity without better images; weight and size would also be helpful.

I really do enjoy hunting down a coins information. In this case, I spent about 30 min searching the databases at my disposal. If you have others, please feel free to post them.

Perhaps if you stick around, you might get the bug. We welcome all.
