    Good day everyone,

There is a gentleman who wants me to give him a price for the dime. I wanted to have it graded first but, he wants to buy it raw. What would you sell it for? Thanks for the input

Raw it's worth 10-12, get graded and you would be loosing money.

For that coin better pictures would help? Is that a scratch and some rim dings evident on the reverse pic 4/5? For a coin with a mintage that high of 205,410,000 and raw if just a regular old MS I'd pay max $4/$5. If people are paying that much for these perhaps I should sell all mine though.

Thank you for the input. Yes, that is a scratch and also a few rim dings. I didn't notice those really but, I should have. I just bought a usb microscope and these pics are the first ones I've taken. The focus on the scope is taking some getting use to. It is ultra sensitive. I like this dime and have decided not to sell it. I am not going to sell it because it's going to remind me of the process of refinement. I'm going to look harder and from more perspective angles, such as looking for rim dings, scratches, etc., that take away from what seems to be a top notch coin. Refinement is my new filter. I believe it will bring me to a satisfied place with my collection.

Don't think too hard about it, collecting is supposed to be fun. There's nothing wrong with some flaws along the way.

Here is one I sold for $5.50, if that helps. Yours looks higher grade though. Maybe I should have sold it for more?

Yours is a nice AU coin with a melt value of $1.15. If you sold it for $5.50, you did very well.
