I'm not going to give you the date yet...but tell me what your thoughts are on these Mint marks. I was going through some old nickel rolls last night before I was going to dump them back into the pond. I need to get rid of a lot of stuff ...that said I have started as time allows to have a quick look see before they head back to the bank. These came out of two rolls of unc. nickels that has been taking up space way too long now. One hint these are over 50 years old!

Doubt it they are 64 D's only 1,787,297,160 minted. There are a few RPM'S in the mintage. Not a key variety by any means. 6 rolls to go through all unc. All look like they have seen better days but still have luster. Man this is one date they rode those dies hard. Even unc. Coins have no steps and dinged up so bad.
Was popping in from time to time , seeing how your all doing buddy .got s whole load of coins trying to put together a huge variety lot. You mentioned run the die down how about this 1960 , recent find. Both sides too.
All md I'm afraid or die deterioration these 64 D's I posted were all unc. But OMG looked so bad as those dies were so over worked. No wonder they didn't explode .
