Somebody told me they don't exist but I have a couple. I don't think they are counterfeit. ?Can someone tell me the truth about my 1959 wheat pennies?
Here's what I can remember about the 59 wheat cent. There was one and just one discovered in 1986. A coin counterfeiter that's in jail has said that he counterfeited the 1959 wheat cent and no clear evidence has been establish that it is genuine. Lou
in the Lincoln cent book, there is an article about a guy who thought he found a 59 with a wheat back. he was very excited, but the picture clearly showed it was a 58. i assume your coins were either earlier or not wheats? -Steve
