Nice. Your 1916 doesn't seem to have the reverse die crack.

That 1901-O, though... I'm not sure what to think about it. :)

  4. That 1901 belongs to me. See you in your dreams...lol.

I must be missing the joke. You're gonna have to drill a new hole in your album for a 1916 Barber Half.

My Dansco has quite a few blank holes on the last page. Plenty of room for the 1916 -- in fact, room for an 09-D, 10-D, and 14-D should they ever appear, hint, hint... :)

Now I have a weird craving for a 1916 worn down to VG or so. But not enough of a craving to pocket-piece one. (Besides, the ASE I've been carrying around for a year or more still isn't showing significant wear; apparently I'm doing it wrong.)

Y'know, I kinda like that cross hatched 1901. Wouldn't it be a novel new coin from the mint? Especially if it was given an antiquing treatment and buffed.

I'm on the fence, but the 01 may be considered tooled by some collectors. image.jpg

I like the 16 because it has some die crack from the 9 - 12 position.:watching:

1916 from Daniel Carr. Either $60 or $85 depending on grade for a half ounce of silver. Is that correct?

Yes. Much cheaper than a 1915 barber half for the same half ounce of silver. ;)

Not to mention 3.1 grams of bronze that happens to have been stamped "1909-S VDB" by a mint that collectors favor...
