Swiss Francs (MS and PF)

    Here are two silver Swiss Francs, one (1945) MS and the other (1966) PF. I've posted these two coins in the past but now have new/better pics which can show some of the differences.

    WOW Ben!! I don't know anything about "foreign" coins, but I know what I like. And I love looking at those 2 coins you have there! Beautiful coins! Thanks for posting the picture!

    What is the "B" designation on the bottom of the reverse, below the date signify? Thanks again!

    Thanks, :) I think it stands for the city it was minted in, Bern.

    Yes,that is the Berne Mint's mintmark.Here's the URL for the mint; www.swissmint.ch .Botswana's first 2 coins were struck there & do have the mintmark.
