cent error

    Can you show the entire Obverse and Reverse of the Cent. So far it's looking as some sort of Post Mint Damage. May not be an error.

    OCOPR48, do you think if you wanted to do that to a coin, you could figure out how? That's the first question you should ask.

    I'd have to disagree and say the first question should be "how could this happen during the minting process?"

    You don't just jump to speculation on how someone could have done this Post Mint if you think you may have an error coin. You first find out whether what you are seeing happened or could have happened during the minting process.
