Picked this up for my 7070 album. It's my first bust quarter. I've been on the hunt for a while now and this one fit the budget. I think it's a solid VF. What's everyone else think. Thanks
Nice repunched date too sold vf coin. These are not cheap finding the date needed and condition one can lay down some serious money. Plus even the common dates are pricy as well hard to find.
I honestly didn't even see that rpd. It does look like it in the pictures now that Im looking for it. I'll have to look at it in hand
Nice coin. That's a B-1 (R1) which is the most common of the 1835 varieties, but it has that great high 3 on the date. The coin was struck from the final die state of this reverse die (the cud on the A in STATES on the reverse is the giveaway). Examples of the final die state are typically not fully struck in the area of the eagle's claws. It looks like a VF25 to me, possibly a VF30 on a good day.
