So the further my client gets through this estate the more coins he finds. This was a true coin hoarder. I think my clients is literally going to break every wall down in this house because we're both certain there is stuff in them. Not to mention we're getting a hold of some good metal detectors for the front and back yard. I previously posted about all the nickels I got out of this house. I since them got some Ike dollars and $100 face in silver junk. I can't sleep thinking theres gotta be a morgan or gold coin pile somewhere. In the meantime we found some pennies. 51 books to be exact. 4 are like the ones in the pictures below. From 1959 on to 1995. All four books have the pennies in UNC condition. Most of the other book are circulated 1941 - 1975 books. Basically are these with the uncirculated cents anything special?? Thanks for the help. Joe
If most are uncirculated by the looks of it and as you say. I may, just may be interested in some of them, would look much nicer then the circulated ones I have now.
It took me two days to go through all these things. It was nuts. I'm not a penny or nickel guy so it was tedious. When I got the junk silver and ikes and other stuff, I had a blast. I mean I love all coins, but some just arent in my area of collecting. Send me a private message if you want to discuss your interest in some of them. As I am certain we are prohibited from discussing buy/sell on this thread.
Oh that's right, indeed we are. PM will be sent. I will leave my comment above ^ as is, as I have nothing else really to offer to the post. lol If a Mod wishes to edit or move it, please do.
I like to collect coins from 1971, my birth year. But what happened to your 1971's? They look sad But overall nice set. Thanks for sharing!
That one has a little toning on it. Funny you mention that, from this estate I got like 20 something 1971 Ikes.
The nickels I posted on another thread, the Ikes and quarters I hadn't posted yet. Definately more to come. Below are the Ikes. 24 1976-d, 3 1976-p, 43 1971-d, 4 1971-p, and 1 1978-d.
Wouldn't sleep until every wall ,floorboard , ceiling were destroyed I'd have the enjoyment of finding the them but not putting it back together. Is it irony ,madness or pleasure that makes a man rip a house apart to find coins that even if all coins are sold it still wouldn't pay for the damage . Lol . I would be that man too. Been quietly lagging to myself . Great convo.
When you guys start busting down the wall, just remember one thing.....there are entities involved with keeping the structural integrity of the house.......in other words, don't cave the place in on yourselves.......
There are tools that can see what is in the walls and floors. I would look into that before killing the house.
