i looked through a box of new silver my dad picked up this morning. pulled out six EF-40 Mercury dimes -1934, 1935, 2x 1936, and 2x 1937. he only wanted $7.00 for the lot after i valued them at $18.00 and was prepared to pay $14.00. i paid him his money and then took my parents out to dinner.

    should i post pictures?

here's the obverse of the best of the bunch.

i'm grading this as an EF-45. the details in the wings and the ear are very clear.

Wow, that's pretty nice except for the crud on the obverse.

can't remove it - it adds character and more to the story of what this coin might have been through. i'm sure they came from poor storage in a box in a closet ;)
