    Hello, Steve.
I take it that you purchased it.
It looks like a nice example.
The pictures seem to indicate good luster.
    Congratulations on a beautiful coin.

    Nice one Steve. :thumb:

This is one of my favorite designs, along with the Standing Liberty Quarter & a couple others.

Nice Walker Steve. That would have been a keeper if I would have found it in my local shop.

Wow, that is sure a nice one! :thumb: If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? If you don't want to say, that's fine. Just curious. It sure is a keeper though. :thumb:

i graded it as an AU-55 simply because of the luster and sharp obverse.

i paid $23.00 - as an AU-50, it would have cost $14.00, but as an AU-55, i figure about $18 or so. a few dollars more than the trend, but it has a nice luster and is very pleasing to the eye. i never even tried to talk them down. they let me walk out a few times without paying for a few things recently, so the piper had to be paid.

handed this to my father yesterday. he seems to think my AU55 is a conservative grade and feels it's at least an MS60. what i considered circulation damage was seen as normal bag damage. the price guide in the May 2007 Coins magazine states an MS60 would run $32.50 or so.

    still learning.
