Thanks, Eng. I am having a lot of fun. Are there many dealers/ancients for sale at BCC? Our situations re ancients here at the Alexandria (VA) Coin Club is dismal. Every once in a while I put up in our auction a gringy sestertius, but they only sell about half the time. I am the only one who puts up ancients. We only have about 4 members who collect ancients.

My Julian FH arrived today, and I'm quite pleased with it. I'm not sure why, but I have a warm place in my heart for scrappy, less-than-common LRB's.

The large Centenionalis are always nice. Here is one of my favorites, a rather scarce one from Constans at Arles, 24mm 5.20g: constans arles.JPG

Speaking of overlooked coins, these are the most overlooked ever and with so many subtypes and variations that one could spend years trying to collect them...

The dean of our little society of collectors here at CT, Doug Smith, has a page on these types at FORVM.

Every time I turn around I see another FH variation I want. Dane says there are 2200 of them and I have no reason to doubt her. I like all of the FEL TEMP types.
