Weird red penny

Hello, im new to this site and i wanted to see if i could get some opinions on this penny i have. Its a 1967 penny and whats weird about it is that its completely red and it has damage to it... Idk if its damage from when it was made or what. So any help would be appreciated.

Okay thanks, i just have never seen it before and i couldnt find anything on it through google so thats why i thought it was odd.

 

could have been in the ground or rained on who knows

It was dug by the looks of it, seen a lot of them.

 

I don't see any difference.
