Got a few coins that came in a collection I bought. I know the Feuchtwanger and New Jersey can be pretty valuable. Anything special variety-wise? Thanks in advance!
I don't see anything special on the 1964. I'm assuming it's a business strike because it looks lustrous, but those rims look proofy to me. In any case, there are a ton of DDO and DDR varieties (even a DDO/DDR). The 1979-S proof is the type 1 variety, the less scarce of the two for that year. Nothing special, in terms of varieties, but it looks like it's starting to tone nicely. Feuchtwanger and NJ are just plain cool, but I don't know anything about them.
I've never been able to distinguish much of a difference between them, but there are fourteen known die parings of the feutchwagner cents. They can go up to $550-600 for nice MS examples, I'd consider yours a nice fine example, they can fairly easily be found in the 125-140 range and there are quite a few collectors for them.
Still check for doubling, then. There are a ton of DDO, DDR, and even some tripled and quadrupled dies.
