All, Got my new setup. Camera takes stunning shots without changing any settings, but the coins have a yellow/gold color on them. I am sure this has to do with the color balance on the camera. Camera: Canon Powershot G16 Using soft CFL bulbs.
Worlds better than the beginning dear fellow. Practice, practice, practice. And lighting. The light source is most important. So many times we rush things to get the photo up and posted. Take your time.....shoot many clips.....be discerning.
I think this is my best cut yet... the CC is so difficult because its like a mirror! Are these pictures worthy of an auction?
Now my next question is going to be.... how did you crop the photo? I've been looking around and is it photoscape?
Jesus.... how did PCGS not grade that CC before a PL? I may send that in for a regrading.... check out this beauty.....
the 1885 CC was graded by NGC MS 64 and the 1891-CC was a MS 62 VAM-3 Top 100 "Spitting Eagle"... the 85 looks damn good for a MS64
