Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell me the population report for a 2010 James Buchanan Missing edge lettering error. I was on their website and only found the pop for the satin finish one (Does that mean if its missing edge lettering its a satin finish?) Because I have a PCGS MS64 one but the label doesn't say satin finish and I know its not a proof and after 3 searches my "free trial" was up and could not look up population reports and further. Any help here would be appreciated!

Here is the PCGS write up in CoinFacts.

Jaime Hernandez: Missing Edge Lettering Dollars were discovered the first year in which the Presidential Dollar coins were produced or in 2007. The varieties or errors instantly became popular with collectors around the country. As time went by more and more different Presidential Dollars coins were discovered with missing edge lettering. Satin Finish coins, however, appear to be much scarcer with missing edge lettering inscriptions compared to circulation strike Presidential Dollar coins overall. For the 2010 the James Buahcanan Missing Edge Lettering Dollar it appears to be really scarce.

It looks like there is only 1 Satin finish and it is graded SP66. If yours is graded MS64 it is a business strike.

Their population report doesn't mention a missing edge lettering, only weak edge lettering.

Open a PCGS Registry Set using your coin as your inventory.
    Open the:

"Presidential Dollars Complete Set with Edge Errors, Circulation Strikes and Satin Finish (2007-2016)" Here: http://www.pcgs.com/SetRegistry/Composite.aspx?c=1909

All you need is an email address as the Set Registry is FREE.

Once you get the set opened, use the "What if" function. Whi9le in "What if" you can see PCGS Prices AND Populations for sets with coins which you have entered into your "inventory".

Using "What if" on my set, I can see a non-Satin Finish James Buchanan (Coin #504251) in addition to a Satin Finish version (Coin #504248)

Do a little work and get the information you need for FREE.

PS - There a bunch of Coin #504251!
