Friday the Lucky 13th

    Seen a similar post name but could not resist. I was out metal detecting today with my new DFX and found this beautiful 1893 Indian cent. It has a dark green color from being in the gound but has a nice bold LIBERTY and 4 diamonds as well. It was about 7 inches deep. I also found a silver Merc 1942 and some wheats and .83 cents in common coins. Here is a few pics of the cent. It is nicer than the pics.:)

    Wow, awesome finds! Always nice to find old stuff. Very awesome. :thumb: I guess today was a good day for everyone, lol. Nice finds.

    i once found a butter knife with a metal detector. and a bottle cap for Faygo. i never find the cool stuff.

    At an old school and church. It was along a path the students use to walk when they were attending mass each morning.
