No clue here. The pictures are tiny. Can you post bigger/clearer images? It looks like there is some type of legend on the reverse. I can't tell much about it in the small picture, just that they are squiggly. If it is a real coin, perhaps something Islamic?
Difficult to tell with those small photos, but I don't 'see' any legible legends or markings of any sort at all....the squiggly marks on the reverse (non-portrait side) look more decorative than 'phonetic' in origin. Perhaps a 'token' of some kind??? Or a 'metal' military button---like from the Civil War etc????
Although it doesn't seem likely, I agree with TIF (she is always right, just like my wife). Yes, well anyway, I see the same squiggly marks which resemble Arabic writing in the inner circle. It is hard to say anything for sure without larger images.
You're right Bing---I would NEVER argue or disagree with TIF or my wife, who is ALWAYS RIGHT!!! ...(WHEW...she finally left the room LOL) Could be Arabic of some kind...I guess we need the 'Middle Eastern' experts to chime in...
I sensed you talking about me and logged back in . As for the OP coin... I really don't know. It has a fantasy-ish/modern look about it. Perhaps as Mikey suggests, some type of token? I'm always right. Except when I'm wrong.
It appears like a Mexican token, button, decoration to be soldered on a bracelet for the gringo turistas.....
I dont have the coin with me right now, will post few more photos later. But from the looks and feel it is definately not a button or decoration or something, definately looks like a coin.
@Bhavin I think TIF gave you her opinion. , Why don't you post it in an exonumia or token section? Or a different board? It also appears desertgem suggests its not of the old world either. I
Obviously not ancient and I am fairly certain it is a token or falls under 'exonumia'---I'd be surprised if it even dates to any earlier than than the late 20th century and suspect it's even more recent than that.... It has no legends and no markings of any denomination I can see---so it's almost certainly not a coin in the usual sense....
