    I like the black background but wish the focus was better and the surfaces more flatteringly reproduced. I struggled with focus too and eventually gave up and bought a different camera, ironically a cheaper fixed-lens point-and-shoot (although with manual control capability, which I use).

    The seller's images suggest that the surfaces are smoother and more reflective. Maybe it would show this if you tilt the coin slightly towards your light source?

    Anyway, the new pictures are definitely better than your old ones. :)

    Looks sharper to me, Bing, particularly the details of the hair and the reverse...I'm not sure how you could improve on it without photo-shop and other things I have little or no experience of.......
