I could not believe it today. Has to be one of my luckiest days I've ever had. Today I go to the bank, and the teller that let's me look through her money. A disapointment, but I still exchanged some quarters for a few dollars. This is where myy luck begins. I look through the ones I got, and one of them is a 1977A, in nice condition, surprisingly still a little crisp. Then, I also found a 1963B Barr note. Not rare, but always neat to find. But it still gets better. Later on I bought some pizza, and in the change was a atleast an AU Bicentennial quarter, which was neat. Also, got a dollar back, and could not believe it, it is a star note! Could not believe it. Well, I was doing laundry at a laundromat with my sister, and this all was in a section of store (like a strip mall). I decide to go back to the bank, and the teller showed up! She was a little late, but she let me look through her money. Found nothing in the paper money, but she asked, "would you like to look though the change?" I go sure, had some time before my dad came back to get us. I look through it, and in the nickels, I found a 1940. Not much, till I looked at the back, and there is an S mintmark! So I found a 1940 S, a 52 D, and a 59 D. So not a bad day so far. But then I come home, and my mom tells me to get the mail. I get it, and looking through it, my contest prizes arrived! Thank you Tols and LibertySeated! They both are simply beautiful. So today was a great day. Thanks for reading!

the soda machine here at the office just ate my dollar bill and promptly jammed. went to the other one in the other wing, exact change only. inserted an F-12 1988D nickel into the slot and then the dollar - got my soda and in the change i was rewarded with an EF-40 1986P.

earlier i found an F-12 1945 Lincoln cent in the "take-a-penny-leave-a-penny" cup in the cafeteria. i paid for my lunch and exchanged my well worn 2002 for the 1945.

not that bad, but i still have the drive home ;)

I deeply apoligize to every one that won my contests, and I will try to mail them on Sunday or Monday, and you all will recieve a few extras. You lucky dog! The best I could do all day is one roll of 2007-D nickels. And I really tried at several of my local banks. I finally opened a new account at one of the banks that I favor. I figured that I must owe them by now. :kewl:

SOP is to tape a note to the machine - when the vendor comes in they square up with those who left notes. took 2 weeks last time since it happened right after they came. i think the bill had tape on it and i didn't realize it until it was almost full in - opps.

nice finds pheonix! that would be nice to go through all those bills! have you checked your * notes on the * note lookup? anything good? friday the 13th has been so so for me. the only thing that went wrong today was the soda machine at school giving me the wrong soda! i pushed pepsi, and then it gives me a green tea! i can't believe that. luckly i had another $1 bill and bought a searia mist. i always hate friday the 13th just because i feel like something is going to go wrong.
