Of course I wouldn't waste the money on that. It was one coin in a lot of better coins. I mostly was going for the 1869 in the lot. It is was in decent condition, low grade though.
You could have fooled me, but I'm glad you pointed this out. I'm not in the mood to be scolded by some (what a rose does to your finger) I don't know, saying I'm taking up for some other (what a rose does to your finger) I don't know either. The only way my statement is untrue is if this hated member lied. If you'll go back and read that train wreck of a thread, in his first post he said he tried to contact her to help. Then, after he decided to go postal and received all the backlash, he said it again. I realize you don't like Planman, and rightfully so. He doesn't seem like someone I could get along with either. However, I will not stand by and let someone attack my character by saying I'm lying, then turn around and "set the record straight" with a claimed truth that was created out of thin air, due to the despise of another member. Go back and read it. I realized this makes you feel more like a "cowboy" by saving this "damsel in distress" from ole Black Bart and his band of savages, but I don't feel like playing cowboys and Indians today.
Why didn't you send it in for grading and to find out what the metal composition was? What did it weigh?
