any help?

  1. Hey guys visiting family on vacation and my cousin showed me this. Any info? i was thinking maybe an xf grade? Im still so New to this so any help with grade and value or history would be greatly appreciated!

    I'd guess a lower grade...like about F+ and barely pushing VF....

    And, the value can vary for as low as $20.00 to as high as $90.00 depending on 'issues' like cleaning and tooling, scratches and 'damage'....

    You can compare these large cents in many ways---including using the archives from various auction houses like Heritage..

    Somewhat difficult to tell from the picture, but I'd agree with Mikey - F-VF. Value wise, I would say likely in the $30 area.

    I agree with jmon, who agrees with Mikey. For a price $25 (unless it's the 51 over 81)
