Could someone identify this coin?

A good number of years ago an Aunt of mine loved to travel and she would give me foreign coins to keep and I still have them to this day, occasionally adding some from my own travels. Anyways, I was sifting through them the other day and most of them are, of course, worthless and readily identifiable, but this one was not (readily identifiable, that is, I'm sure it's worthless).

It is gold coloured and slightly larger than a Canadian quarter but heavier. It has what appears to be a large traditional Chinese character in the centre, with the word "Tahan" three times surrounding it in Roman characters.

    Here's a photo of it:

I have tried many google searches using many different terms and could not identify it.

    Can anyone help?

I apologize to moderators if I have posted this topic in the wrong forum. If that is the case, please move it as necessary.

Welcome aboard,CloutierFan02.It looks like a Japanese video game parlour token of some sort.Perhaps Roy can get his wife to read that character, that is,if it is Japanese.

I can assure it that it's 100% NOT japanese but instead chinese. Pronounced as "han" it should be translated as "shake" or "shivering" however I don't know why something like that is on a medal.
