Considering it's slabbed and a large bright coin it looks darn good. On my pad I can enlarge to see all the coins fine points. If you're going for a glamor shot well bust it out. Nice coin.
It looks like you have a large light at about 10 o'clock and a small one at about 12 o'clock. What would probably be better is two light sources of the same size with one at 10 o'clock and one at 2 o'clock. Also, it would be better to crop out all of the extraneous background (in this case it's the slab) before resizing the photo. (Assuming that you have the appropriate software.) Chris
Thanks for the feedback. I do indeed have a light at 10 o clock. Another light source at 2 o clock will balance it out? I had a rough time with a 1940 Lincoln Penny. Still weighing the option of consigning with someone who can take professional photos.... Might be worth the fee.
There are a number of guys here who take awesome photos. It all depends on how far you want to go with the photo library. Chris
