    What year/mint mark is the quarter?

    Strike doubling on the quarter, and on the cent, might be post strike, or a cud, not sure by the photo.

    did you find the 12 d in circulation? Not an easy coin in rolls.

    On most cuds that large, the spot opposite to the cud on the reverse would be very weak. I think I actually see that weakness on the bottom of the reverse though, kind of hard to tell due to the wear though :)

    As mentioned the quarter is Machine Doubling Damage also known as strike doubling. The cent is just Post Strike Damage.
