So I just came across this in an old roll of wheat cents from circulation finds.
    Whats the Variety?

And what would be your first attempt at conserving this coin?
    Or would you?

    Prepunched mint mark.
    Worth?
    Whatever you can get.
Not mint state, so wouldn't hurt to conserve it.
Never done one, may try that VERDI-CARE™
at a cost probably More than the cent is worth?

Verdi Care has definitly crossed my mind
That's usually the way I look at it. I thought about the verdi care, and meant to get a bottle a few months back.

I like the acetone and verdicare idea.

I wouldn't bother with acetone except as a final rinse, just put a drop over the areas one at a time, let stand a couple of minutes, use a toothpick while under fluid and dab dry. The verdigris looks like, I expect VERDI-CARE to fully remove everything you see without using other solvents.

Nice find. Like you and others, I'd use a bit of Verdi-Care on it and do nothing else.
What I love about the coin, is that you can easily see the error with the naked eye. Unlike some that require 50x magnification and even then, it's iffy.

I agree what is hard to see is the third D at the bottom. I would say that this is a stage D or E.
One of these days I will get some from you.
    Thanks

Good product. Definitely beats a spit-shine with acetone.
