    Hello everyone

I've been reading this forum for a few months, but don't believe I have posted before.
Interesting story about how I came across this quarter, but when I saw it I was very confused. I'm not sure if someone just sanded down a side of it, or if it came from the mint like this. What do you think? Thanks!

Definitely damaged, but you can turn it into a love token if you have the technology.

After looking more closely at it, it definitely looks damaged. A real error wouldn't have these lines, right? uploadfromtaptalk1431885372938.jpg

Think for a moment. How could a coin be struck with only one die?

That can be done but it is pretty quiet. It does make a sound though, so if you get enough people doing it at the same time it is audible over a distance.
