Seller says Genio is holding Sol's head, I am thinking it is more like Serapis?

Recognising the mint was easy. I started purely on style, which would clearly identify as Aiexandria. I also have a few coins fromthe same issue but produced by Max II Daia and thus the mintmarks were a clincher.

Here is my latest purchase from the series, with this one not havng the wreath.

Nice coin. I can't tell the mints from style. The reference numbers for these are all over the place too.

Wow, those are gorgeous. I have bought a few folli recently with the intention of selling some on, but I can't part with them!

Thanks for the reference, on wildwinds that is Antioch and on coinproject it is Alexandria. I am easily confused :D

With RIC VI you need the mint with the number. 162a could appear on multiple mints so RIC VI 162a is meaningless but RIC VI Alexandria 162a is explicit.

That explains it, thank you. One day I might get the hang of this.

Nice Bing. I have developed a real soft spot for these coins.
