The Golden Conchita isn't what you think at first glance. It's gilt lol
    Any other bearded lady coins?

FWIW, Conchita Wurst (Tom Neuwirth) won last year's Eurovision Song Contest. And this year's ESC starts on Tuesday. ;) The Austrian Mint currently does a Gustav Klimt series of gold coins, and it made and sells this medal (as Del Pinto wrote, not a gold piece) as a fundraiser for the Aids Life campaign.

Presumably this event, tonight in Vienna.

I guess the coins are souvenirs, 88 Euros.

Gross! And no, I'm not homophobic or anything but I'll collect my coins without bearded ladies or men in drag with beards. I'm sure they'd sell very well in San Francisco tho. laughhard.gif

Side note: The Conchita Wurst pieces are medals, not coins. The Austrian Mint designed and markets the pieces, but they have no face value and cannot be exchanged/redeemed at the central bank. The idea to have him post like Adele Bloch-Bauer is interesting though. :)
