    Here are four old Canadian Cents. 1859, 1876, 1882, and 1919.

    Ben,the 1859 1c. is a relatively common coin,but there are several subtypes.The 1876H 1c. is a scarce coin.It is the first 1c. coin to have been issued by the Dominion of Canada.The 1859 1c. was issued by the Province of Canada.The 1882H & 1919 1c. coins are also relatively common as well.

    Even though there were fewer 1876-H coins produced (4 million) than the 1859 (9.579 million), it is actually a very common coin as far as Victorian large cents go. Some of the 1859 varieties such as double punched 9, 9 over 8, etc.. are relatively scarce and market prices tend to reflect this.

    i love coins with the King pictured. Its just not something you see alot of these days. Coins with the Queen are abundantly obtainable. We need Kings again lol
