    Herennia Etruscilla AR Antoninianus.

OBV: HER ESTRVSCILLA AVG, Diademed & draped bust right on crescent.

REV: PVDICITA AVG, Pudicitia Seated left holding sceptre & drawing veil from her face.

    REF: RIC 59b, RSC 19.

I just received this coin in the mail a couple hours ago. This is my own photo shoot. Getting better, I think but I still have a ways to go.

This brings my Roman ruler count up to 101, as mentioned in my celebration thread. By all means, post those Herennia Etruscilla coins if you wish.

Really lovely coins of H.R. ---Mine is a 'variation' of the one Bing posted--with a standing Pudicitia Reverse.

The Obverse is a sellers photo and the reverse my 'contribution'---I think I have more than a bit further to go than you in acquiring photographic skills, Gil, but that's part of the 'fun' right? h estrucilla obverse.JPG Herrenia Estrucilla reverse 001.JPG

An antoninianus and a sestertius here. As I have a soft spot for the DIVI series struck under Trajan Decius, I felt in obligation to have both antoninianus and sestertius :D
I used to have a Pudicita seated too, but parted with it some years ago

Very nice coins guys. Maybe one day I'll also get a Sestertius.

This is my 101th Roman ruler. I had it marked pending on my 100th celebration because it was on it's way in the mail.

    Trajan Decius-----Messius Decius???

I bet he had a hell of a time in Roman 'grade school' with all the kids making fun of his name in rhyme...;)
