Machlin's Mills?

    I think this is a Machlin Mills Halfpenny, but am not sure if it is a knock off or not. Any input would be appreciated.

    Machin not Machlin.. Counterfeit or not.. it's still a very old coin! It's actually to worn out to tell unless there are any Machin Mills experts that take a look. Thanks for sharing!

    Not an expert but I don't think so. How's the weight? the contemporary counterfets and the Machin pieces were notably underweight.

    I haven't calibrated the only scale I have access to atm, but it shows 8.8g
