What's the grade

Here's a 1938-D buffalo graded by NGC. I'll give the answer Tuesday night.

Good Lord, that's one beautiful nickel... It looks like a MS-67 to me???

I've got a 38 d/d thats nicer than that IMHO thats only a 64, maybe a candidate for an upgrade.

 

Ms-66...67 if it didn't have what appears to be a scratch in the Buffalo's goatee thing and the light ones on his side... Awesome Coin!

 

Id call it MS65 - & thats what I think NGC called it

 

I'll say MS66.

:bow: Wow! Now that is very awesome! MS 65++ in my opinion, very good chance at a 66. I can't grade buffs that well, but that one is gorgeous. Very nice. :thumb:

I went with ms 66, that is one nice buff. You have to look pretty hard to find contact marks and the fields are so clean. very nice.:thumb:

I say 65, but a very solid one. Wouldn't surprise me if it was able to bump up to a 66.

No prob, no offense taken...I kind of forgot about it since it had slipped so far down on the list...LOL.
It actually isn't mine...but I'm thinking about buying it. It sure would be a nice addition.
