Cool spiked head Canada cent

I saw this today, it may not be worth anything over 1 cent But I think it is cool

Is this kind of thing caused by die polishing, die crack or die scratch?

I'm struggling to see the spike. If you could kindly take a picture straight on of the coin and a little closer, it would help. If you're talking about that swath across the top of her face, I think that's just some toning from something it came in contact with.

I see something coming off the bottom part of the hair. If that's it, it's not a spiked head. A Spiked head has to extend to rim. At least that's how it works with Spiked Head Lincolns.

 

Does this count as one? Another one I dug out of my collection...
