I did some quick searching but could not come up with anything. Does anyone know if the godess Strina(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strenua), other spellings are Strenua or Strenia, ever made an appearance on Roman coins? She appears to be a minor goddess, possible related to Salus. Any help would be appreciated, and if I can track one down I'll post a longer story about her significance to me.

I did mass search on the 3 spellings for that god on ACsearch and nothing. So I assume no :/

I found a reference to Strenua as the Roman goddess of vigor, but nothing indicating she was ever depicted on any coins.

The 'spelling' is suggestive of Etruscan....perhaps, like gladiatorial games (the 'sacrifice' of individuals at the death of a noble), it is a borrowed remnant of those times??

Obviously, you have knowledge of 'her' that I do not. I have no info regarding her depiction on any coins......Sorry.
