What is your favorite US Coin series? (the available options are mostly my favorites, so if your favorite is something other than what is mentioned please specify).
Eagle reverse clad quarters. There's always the chance to make new discoveries and finding nice specimens is a fun challenge whether you're looking in mint sets or at the 25 billion remaining in circulation. There's little competition everywhere.
Business Strike 2 Cent Pieces. 10 coin series if you include the small motto which I do. Small motto and 1872 are tough but others readily available without breaking the bank. Tons of RPD and other variety to be found.
My favorite is the Kennedy half dollar Nov. 22, 1963 shocked the world and the half dollar tribute to Kennedy was an entirely appropriate denomination for it. To put his bust on the quarter or another coin more commonly circulated would have been too painful of an everyday reminder.
Capped Bust Halves,Followed by other Capped bust coinage - & then Liberty Head Large cents- Or basically the earlier the Type the better ~
I really like the Flying Eagle design. The bald eagle has been depicted so many different ways on our coins, but the 1856 is by far the most beautiful rendition.
I voted for 5 of the coins. My all-time favorite is the Saint Gaudiens $20, I hope to own one someday.
